← What we assess for

Suicidal
Thoughts.

Thoughts of not wanting to be here, of death, or of hurting oneself. If this is happening now, call or text 988 or call 911.

What it can look like

  • Hopelessness
  • Withdrawal
  • Talking about death
  • Giving things away
  • Self-harm
  • A sudden calm

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For support at any hour, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. We are not a crisis service. Suicidal thoughts can look like talking about being a burden or wanting to disappear, pulling away from friends and family, giving away belongings, self-harm, or a sudden calm after a hard stretch. Once a child or adult is safe and in care, an evaluation can help the people supporting them understand the mood, learning and attention difficulties that may be part of the picture.

Getting started

Safety comes first: call or text 988, or call 911, if there is any immediate risk. Once that is in place, a phone consultation is the place to talk about whether an evaluation would help.

Fees

Rates vary based on the level of involvement. Contact us for a phone consultation.
