ADHD.
We evaluate children and adults who are struggling to succeed in school and at work. Adult evaluations often focus on a specific diagnosis, such as ADHD, that may have been missed throughout childhood.
What it can look like
- Attention
- Hyperactivity
- Impulsivity
- Organization
- Follow-through
- A missed diagnosis
ADHD looks different at different ages. In children it is often restlessness, lost belongings, unfinished work and trouble waiting a turn. In teens and adults it can be quieter: missed deadlines, half-finished projects, trouble getting started, and a sense of working harder than everyone else for the same result. Many adults are evaluated for the first time after a child’s diagnosis makes their own history click into place.
How we help
Getting started
Start with a phone consultation. For a child we usually recommend a comprehensive evaluation, since attention problems rarely travel alone; for an adult, a more targeted ADHD evaluation is often enough.
Rates vary based on the level of involvement. Contact us for a phone consultation.
