Neuropsychological
evaluations.

For children, teens and adults who are struggling to succeed in school or at work. An evaluation shows how you or your child learns, focuses and remembers, and what will help.

Who it’s for

  • Learning differences
  • Attention
  • Social skills
  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • A missed diagnosis

Evaluations often focus on learning differences, attentional issues, or difficulties with social skills. Child evaluations are comprehensive, because many factors come together to affect a child’s performance in school. Adult evaluations often focus on a specific diagnosis, such as autism or ADHD, that may have been missed throughout childhood.

  • Parent and background interview
  • Psychoeducational testingcognitive functioning and academics
  • Executive functioningformal assessment and rating forms
  • Visual motor integrationvisual-perceptual and fine motor skills

What is an evaluation?

What to expect

  1. Speak with us

Schedule a consultation call; this is your chance to describe your concerns. We will work together to determine if testing is a good option for you and your family.

  2. Interviews

We start with an in-depth interview with parents about your child’s history, from pregnancy to today. We talk with teachers, pediatricians and other providers, and observe in the classroom where it helps.

  3. Testing sessions

Your child works with the evaluator, usually over several days.

  4. Report and next steps

A feedback session with your family, sometimes with your child, and a written report with diagnoses and recommendations for school and home.
